I finally rearranged things to make more sense Well, it makes more sense TO ME anyways! I put the Babelfish link high on the page so it is clearly visible when the page opens with no need to scroll down. It used to be way down and what is the sense in that? If people do not see it, and are not English speaking, are they going to scroll way down until they find it? No, I don't think so either! So, there it is. My mail server is down and has been for the past 24 hours, and I have no way to get hold of them to complain. I sent an email via Yahoo but who knows how long it will take them to notice? That's what I get for living in the US and having a hosting service in AU! But, then again, isn't international commerece wonderful? Without it, I would have to have a hosting service close by and that might not be the best deal. OK, enough of the complaints for the time being.
Today has been a lazy day, as has been the whole of the last week and then some. Last weekend was a big festival over in Seattle, Folklife, which is the biggest of the free events at the Seattle Center. I spent most of all 3 days there enjoying the music and eating the food. There is more food there, and it all is so good! I probably gained 10 pounds! Seriously, I probably gained a bit as I did eat a lot more than I should have. I usually eat mostly "sensible" things, light on meat protien, but when it comes to Folklife and Bumbershoot (the other big Seattle Center thing Labor Day weekend, but it costs big bucks!), I tend to overlook sensible and go for it. Ummmmm!!! Piroshki's with beef and chedder cheese! Burritos! Pansit! Yakisoba! Pizza with all the trimmings and double cheese! And then some great microbrew beer to wash it all down! Yummy! I can feel my arteries hardening still even a week after the fact! Well, it's time to hop back on the wagon and return to my usual fare. Sigh. At least when I splurge, I only do it once in a while. I wonder how people can eat like this every day? Maybe those are the ones who are suing the fast food industry because they lack willpower. Food for thought! (A poor pun, I know, but who could resist?)
