Blogger is turning into advertising central
I suspected this for a while and just now verified it. I checked the last 10 published blogs when I got to the dashboard and 9 of the 10 were nothing more than lists of links advertising things such as golf links, online poker, casinos and other crap. Nine of ten, people! It used to be you could find a lot of interesting things people have written by looking through the last 10 updates and then maybe doing a refresh to get a few more. Now, it seems the vast majority are nothing more than a list of links all related to some scheme to get your money. What is the point, anyway? Are these people making money at this? I suspect what is really happening is bloggers like me are slowly being crowded out by the spammer psuedo bloggers. Twits. I, for one, will NEVER go to a link I see on one of these spammer adblogs. It used to be it was easy to find an interesting blog to read.
